Description

This project investigates how Singapore’s talent mobility has evolved under broader global economic restructuring. Using global LinkedIn workforce data spanning two decades, it reconstructs complete career trajectories to compare talents with overseas work experience and local talents whose careers have developed entirely within Singapore. The analysis focuses on differences in mobility patterns, resilience to external shocks, and transitions across industries. The results will provide deeper insights into how international exposure shapes adaptive capacity and influences long-term career dynamics. They will also enhance understanding of Singapore’s evolving role in regional talent circulation and offer evidence to support more effective human capital development and workforce resilience policies.
