This project seeks to elevate social service practices through the integration of generative AI. By collaborating with social service agencies, we will develop an AI assistant designed to support social workers in case formulation, such as helping summarize notes, analysing client situations, and suggesting effective interventions. Additionally, we will delve into the human-centered aspects of AI adoption, fine-tuning models to align with social workers’ thinking and incorporating local dialects like Singlish for better client communication.
