Texts, Heritage and Culture
The Texts, Heritage and Culture cluster focuses on the computational analysis of texts and other cultural artifacts. Such research may be historical (e.g. tracking of influences and cultural patterns), theoretical (e.g. comparative analysis of ideas from different contexts) or contemporary (examining current forms of cultural expression). One particular area of emphasis is on Singapore and Southeast Asia, where we seek to study cultural phenomena at scale, to discover new knowledge and inform contemporary policy in our multi-cultural societies.
